We are thrilled to share what we are learning along this journey with you. Please feel free to visit the website often to see what's happening now. It's always changing. The world around us offers such grand and glorious opportunities in spite of the negativity that is constantly bombarding us. We believe that God - the amazing Creator - has endowed us with the ability to create a new reality when the current one is not serving us. Come join us in creating a new reality that brings joy, passion, love and amazing adventures into your life.

Spiritual Awakening - What does that mean? Will it change your beliefs in God? Will it expand your understanding? Just how do you do that? How do you overcome your fear of the unknown?

These are just some of the questions that arise when a catalyst ignites a desire in us for a closer connection to God. We might even be sitting in church and feeling lonely. How can we be lonely in the House of God? It happens. We might be hungry for that moment when we know God cares about each individual - not the mom, dad, sister, brother, child, partner, but me - that I matter to God.

There are many ways to accomplish this search for a greater connection. The Empowered Dreams Events are moving us closer to a greater understanding by inviting people to share their journeys on spiritual paths. They will be available for you to listen to their stories and explore areas that resonate within you. You will be able to interact, explore and discuss various approaches to awakening in your personal journey to enlightenment.

You and you alone will determine what to investigate and learn as you answer your most pressing questions. Have discussions, reach for new truths, meet people who think like you do. Know you are not alone.

Isn’t it amazing when you begin a spiritual journey and a new earth opens up around you? Look at the impact of Eckhart Tolle’s book, A New Earth. Did it raise questions or provide answers in your life? Does it conflict with what you believe or your own experience?

Recently I participated in a conference for gifted and talented children and adults—Indigo Nation—a consciousness evolution. I had a conversation with one of the other attendees.

She had been feeling alone and isolated in her life, beliefs and experiences. Now she realized that there were others like her. In this event, she found a community of like-minded people. She did not feel alone any longer. Isn’t it exciting to meet others who are going through the same struggles and their suggestions are just what you need in that moment?

Every day we are bombarded with messages – people tell us what to say, how to say it, what to wear, how to think, how to react to stimuli, how to follow the crowd, what 7 out of 10 people do… and the list goes into infinity. I believe that my opinions, thoughts, feelings, words and actions are as valuable as popular opinion and relish the idea that I think “outside the box.” What other people think, do or say might be important to them. What governs my life is my own understanding and actions. Somewhere along the way we have been conditioned to follow “popular trends” rather than forge new pathways. We have become sheep that blindly follow the most strident leaders rather than listen to the wisdom within the silence of our hearts. As we empower ourselves, we confidently move in the direction of our dreams and find the happiness that following the crowd could never provide.

What will you do today? Lead or follow? The future is yours to command. Your own guidance is within you. The power to choose lies within each of us. Choose wisely.

What does that mean exactly? Loving myself? Hmmm, is that important to me?

Yes, it is very important, it’s an integral part of the hero’s journey! You can only love someone else to the extent you love—truly love--yourself. When you think about yourself, do you measure up to the “standards” of success that you believe to be important? Do you actually enjoy your time alone or do you fill every waking moment with activities to avoid being in your own company?

The “Whole You” means you are confronting any obstacles you may have to loving everything about you. You’re doing the work of loving and forgiving yourself for all those things you always felt held you back from being your best self. You’re showing courage in looking at the secrets–yes, even the shameful ones! You’re healing the wounds and residual scars that impact how you feel about yourself. You’re addressing all those careless comments that have enough “sting” to change how you see yourself and your ability to succeed in the world. You’re determining what is right for you rather than seeking the approval of others. You’re living in the moment, knowing that where you are NOW is exactly where you are supposed to be.

So you see the Whole You is the total of your spiritual, mental, emotional and physical self. You’re balanced and whole in all four of these areas, rather than concentrating on only one area or another. You’re creating a life that is supported by spiritual foundations, mental acuity, emotional health and physical stamina. All the parts of you are working together for your ultimate success.

Qualities one would use to describe you include the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

The Whole You has mastered who you are, what is important according to your own scale, and you share that on a regular basis with the people who are in relationship with you. Loving yourself is so natural that it permeates every action and interaction you have with others. Love returns to you from everyone you encounter and it is noticeable wherever you go.

Being whole naturally reminds us of our Oneness with God. We see God in every person we meet. We’re no longer fragments. We are One. We are Whole.
